To create a flat lawn on this sloping site
in Bishops Lydeard, a brick retaining wall has been built up from ground level
at the front and the lawn area cut into the slope at the back, with more
retaining wall to hold the bank back.

generous patio and raised beds that incorporate recesses at the bottom to give footspace for
a wheelchair user. There is a large pond and a double door greenhouse
for easy use with the wheelchair.

This garden in Lyme Regis looks out to sea. The patio is paved with sandstone setts and stainless steel mirror tiles. Two flights of sleeper steps lead down to a lower level lawn and fruit beds to the south side. A pergola runs along the north boundary. Radiating fruit and veg beds are included along the south boundary.
